Having trained at Aberdeen Technical College and graduated from Robert Gordon’s University Elizabeth went on to gain experience in many areas of the hospitality industry. Elizabeth has worked as an operations manager with the largest food service provider in the UK, having responsibility for clients such as Glamis Castle, Maersk Oil, Kippie Lodge as well providing VIP events attended by the Royal Family and local dignitaries.
Behind every successful lady there is a successful man. Elizabeth’s husband Lawrence who leads our event support, ensures that event construction and logistical planning are managed efficiently.
At the heart of Country Flavours is a hard working team led by our Elizabeth and Operations Manager along with over 50 members of experienced staff. Our team are hard working and passionate about of service delivery and customer care.
Lawrence, an agricultural advisor for SAC, supporting the farming community within the north east. At the weekends Lawrence takes over the logistics department ensuring deliveries and support for weddings and events is all organised. He pops a pallet bar and even created along with friends the new log cabin for the Bothy.
Eldest daughter Alexandra, in her last year at school hopefully heading to university next year. Alexandra is very interested in the business and is hands on most weekends. Hobbies include a keen drummer in a grade 2 pipe band and a highland dancer. Alexandra is the driving force alongside some of the young team within Country Flavours to keep our business forefront using technology and bringing the company into the 21st century through online ordering systems and social media audiences
Rebecca-Ann, an elite gymnast having competed for Scotland on several occasions, she is also a keen helper at weddings and events within the business.
Jack, loves the farming life at Granny’s helping uncle Ewan with lambing and harvest. Jack has learned our new shop technology very well and is always on hand to help a customer in need.
Granny, Elizabeth’s mum has been a chef for over 40 years now, originally training in patisserie. She is the support and back bone to the company supporting the family and ensuring the food is created and delivered to the highest of standards.
